Sustainability Specialist/Verifier – UK Based & Hybrid Working

A genuine interest in the environment and not averse to occasional overseas trips to verify sustainability criteria?

We are seeking to recruit someone with:

  • FSC or PEFC chain of custody auditing experience and, ideally, experience in either biomass, timber, palm oil rubber, and other natural commodity supply chains.
  • Knowledge of key articles on commodity and sustainability regulation such as the EU Deforestation Regulation, EU Timber Regulation, and Renewable Energy Directive II/III.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an interesting field related to the natural environment or science.
  • Leadership experience: a Lead Auditor, project lead, certification manager, or times when you have been in leadership situations.
  • Good numerical skills, though not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and well-versed with Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in delivering presentations and preferably some internal or external training.
